Manage vacation-rental guests from booking through checkout

Keep every stay's arrival details and guest requests in one WhatsApp thread, with your Airbnb and Booking.com calendars synced two ways — a date blocked on one calendar is blocked everywhere.

  2. A shopping cart becoming a confirmed WhatsApp messageConvert
  3. An order receipt with a confirmed paymentOrder
  4. A parcel on a conveyor with delivery tracking updatesFulfil
  5. A support headset answering a customer’s questionSupport
  6. A calendar with a follow-up message inviting the customer backRetain

What scatters a vacation-rental guest's stay

A booking arrives on Airbnb, a question comes in on WhatsApp, and a note for the cleaner lives in a separate text — three channels for one stay, with no shared record between them.

  • A guest messages the host's personal number, and that thread disappears the day the host is unreachable
  • A date gets double-booked because the Airbnb calendar and the direct-booking calendar were each updated by hand
  • Arrival details are typed out fresh for every guest instead of sent from a saved message
  • A guest's mid-stay request — a lockbox code, a WiFi password — goes to whichever number they happen to have saved

What ties a stay together

One calendar per unit and one guest thread per stay, whichever platform the booking started on.

Two-way calendar sync
Booked dates from Airbnb and Booking.com flow in, and dates you block flow back out — the same calendar, both directions.
Unit catalog
Each unit's photos, amenities and capacity in one place, not a separate listing kept per platform.
Guest thread
One WhatsApp conversation per guest once you have their number, kept with their stay regardless of which platform they booked through.
Stay messages
Check-in, check-out and post-stay messages sent from a saved template rather than typed fresh.
Service request
A mid-stay request logged with a status and an owner instead of a text to whoever's free.

From a synced calendar to a handled stay

The same flow whether the booking started on Airbnb, Booking.com, or WhatsApp directly.

  1. A booking lands

A reservation on Airbnb or Booking.com syncs its dates onto your Morasel calendar; a direct enquiry is booked over WhatsApp.

  2. The calendar updates everywhere

The date is blocked on every connected calendar, so the same night can't be booked twice.

  3. The guest thread is set up

Once you have the guest's WhatsApp number, the same thread and templates handle their stay, whichever platform they booked on.

  4. Arrival details go out

Check-in information is sent from a saved template before the stay.

  5. Requests and checkout are logged

A mid-stay request becomes a tracked item, and a check-out or post-stay message goes out from the same thread.

What the guest sees

One thread for the stay, whichever platform the booking started on.

Illustrative example — nothing shown here is a real business, person or message.

What the team sees

One calendar and one guest thread per stay, however the booking arrived.

  • One calendar per unit, kept in sync with Airbnb and Booking.com in both directions
  • A guest thread tied to the stay, whichever platform the booking came from
  • A queue of open mid-stay requests, each with a status and an owner
  • Check-in, check-out and post-stay messages sent from saved templates

Who's in control

Calendar sync keeps dates from clashing; a person still confirms a direct booking and closes a request.

  • Two-way sync blocks a date automatically; nothing else about a booking is written back to Airbnb or Booking.com
  • A direct WhatsApp booking is confirmed by staff, not automatically
  • In-stay requests are closed by whoever handles them
  • Changing or cancelling a stay is handled in conversation with the guest, not through a self-serve link

What this does not do

Morasel is not a full property-management system, and it does not replace Airbnb's or Booking.com's own guest messaging on their platforms. It syncs the calendar those bookings create and gives your team one WhatsApp thread per guest for everything that happens around the stay.

Keep every vacation-rental stay in one thread

Start free, sync your Airbnb and Booking.com calendars both ways, and handle every guest's stay from one WhatsApp thread.

Vacation rental questions

Does a booking made on Airbnb show up on our calendar?

Yes. Two-way sync imports Airbnb and Booking.com reservations, so those dates are blocked on your Morasel calendar automatically.

If we block a date in Morasel, does it block it on Airbnb too?

Yes. The sync runs both ways — a date you block goes back out to your connected Airbnb and Booking.com calendars, not just the other way around.

Does an Airbnb message automatically become a WhatsApp thread?

No. Calendar sync moves dates, not guest identity. A WhatsApp thread starts once you have the guest's number, the same as with any direct guest.

Can we manage listings across more than one platform from one place?

The unit catalog and calendar sync work across Airbnb and Booking.com; each platform's own messaging system stays separate from your Morasel guest thread.

Does this replace Airbnb or Booking.com?

No. Morasel is not a property-management system and doesn't replace either platform — it syncs the calendar they create and gives your team one guest thread for the stay.

Can a guest change or cancel a stay without a staff member?

No. A change or cancellation to a direct booking is handled in conversation with the guest; there is no separate self-serve cancellation link.

How is this billed?

Through your Morasel subscription — Core $79, Pro $179, Max $349, Custom on request. WhatsApp usage is billed separately, per delivered message, from a prepaid wallet at the rates in our published rate card — based on Meta's official WhatsApp pricing by country and message type, plus a Morasel service fee.
